Over the past 18 months, we have taken over 10000 photographs of the gravestones in our churchyards and cemeteries of the Black Country. We have three websites online to showcase some of these images but there is only enough webspace for 2000 photographs.
Having now entered our second year, the costs have escalated due to the renewal fees of the domain names, websites and email accounts etc. These costs now exceed £2000. We therefore hope that there will be sufficient funds from the subscriptions to secure the future of these websites which are free resources.
We are working on a database to which we are adding the names and dates of death from the memorials, i.e. headstones, tombs etc. This will be ongoing because the amount of photographs increase every month.
We have decided to make the Launch Edition of the database available for online viewing. (The PDF may also be saved to your computer for offline access).
In order to continue this project, which will be an invaluable aid to your research, we are implementing two payment options for which we will provide the following:
PAYMENT OPTION 1 - Annual Subscription £12
1) The current database at the time the subscription is taken out. The Launch Edition (April 2010) contains over 3000 names and dates of death from the headstones in churchyards and cemeteries of the Black Country.
2) A revised copy of the database every three months.
3) Up to 12 photographs per annum if you find one or more matches for your ancestors.
4) Entry into a draw every three months. If your account number is selected, you will receive one of three books of your choice - these have been chosen from our top ten of genealogy books.
PAYMENT OPTION 2 - Quarterly Subscription £4
1) The current database at the time the subscription is taken out. The Launch Edition (April 2010) contains over 3000 names and dates of death from the headstones in churchyards and cemeteries of the Black Country.
2) Up to 3 photographs per quarterly subscription.
3) If you decide to continue with another quarterly subscription and there has been no more than a three day break in your membership, you may carry forward any unused photograph allowance, up to a maximum of 12 photographs. At the end of that quarter, you will start with a new allowance of three photographs.
4) Quarterly memberships do not qualify for entry into the three monthly draw.

Please note that we only need your name and email address to set up a subscription. However, we will need your personal address if you win our quarterly draw. Additionally, your Credit Card details will never be revealed to us by PayPal. For other payment options, please see below.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
If you wish to take out a subscription, please send an email to subscriptions@blackcountrychurchyards.co.uk We will provide details for payment and on receipt of your subscription fee, will allocate an account number for your subscription and send by email, a copy of the current database. Thereafter, you will receive quarterly updates.
All names contained within the database have a code number which needs to be quoted when you request one or more photographs. The name and address of the Church or Cemetery will be provided for each image attached to the email we send to you.
We will only send photographsto the registered email address of the Subscriber on production of the account number. The email address and account number must match therefore please keep us informed of any changes to your email address.
Photographs will be sent as jpeg images by email and will be the original copies.
Payment can be made by PayPal, cheque, postal order or international money order.
